Bourne Free Pride Festival 2010 10 Jul 2010 - 10 Jul 2010

The theme for Bourne Free 2009 will see Bournemouth's Pride Festival become a colourful weekend of circus fun with everything from clowns and jugglers to stilt walkers and fire eaters!
The 3 day event takes place from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th of July, with a ringmaster leading the Pride Parade, live acts at the Street Party, and plenty of popcorn and candyfloss.
Previous themes for the annual gay pride have included 'Bourne Free, by the Sea' and 'Support our Services' with thousands of people coming in fancy dress and this year will be no exception!
Bourne Free will soon reveal full details of this year's event, but in the meantime if you'd like to be a Volunteer, become a Sponsor, book a Stall or register for the Parade visit thier website

Derby Goes Pink 2010: One Great City, One Great Pride. Derby Goes Pink is being held on the 10th of July 2010 at the Bass Recreational Ground in Derby. Building upon the success of the previous 2 years, Derby Goes Pink 2010 is surely going to be the biggest Gay Pride Derby has ever seen! Leeds Pride 2010 01 Aug 2010 - 01 Aug 2010

Leeds Pride will take place on Sunday 1st August 2010. Opening the event, in Leeds Millennium Square, will be civic leaders welcoming the vast crowds of LGBT people, their families, friends and allies to the city. Then the fun begins with the opening of the main-stage graced by some of the region's and country's top performers. As the crowd are entertained the floats are being marshalled for the centrepiece of Leeds Pride, the massive parade through the City. As the paraders and floats rumble, sashay, skip, scream and whistle around the specially designed route to ensure maximum visibility, the city's Gay venues are readying themselves for their busiest day of the year; determined to do what they do best - keeping the revellers entertained to the early hours.

Liverpool does not currently have a Pride festival, despite being the sixth most populous metropolitan area in England. It has celebrated Homotopia, an LGBT arts festival, for the last five years

It has been announced that the theme for 2010 is “Wild, Wild West”. Expect to see sexy cowboys and cowgirls, outrageous red-Indians, and even the odd pantomime horse for good measure. Pete Lovegrove, Chairman, comments "every year Bourne Free gets bigger and better and 2010 will be no exception". He adds, "this year being Bournemouth’s 200th year we are planning a great event right in the heart of the town to encourage everyone to join in the celebration of diversity that Bournemouth has to offer."
