annual gay parade Sydney . In every gay travel guide, this homosexual event is the

This year’s pride festival in Stockholm will also be hosting Europride. This year’s
theme is “Swedish Sin Breaking Borders”, focusing on international LGBT issues.
The festival will be held between 25 July and 3 August.
Of course, the Swedish Green
Party (Miljöpartiet de Gröna) will be participating at Europride, and we would like
to welcome all greens to the festival and Stockholm. We are still at the planning
stage at the moment, but nevertheless the Swedish Greens will be organizing or participating
in several events in connection to this year’s Pride festival:
On Thursday 31 July,
a Green conference will be held on the theme hate crime (see attachment for special
invitation).
On the evening that same day, there will be a Green Queer Party.
The great amazing parade through Stockholm takes place on Saturday, August 2. Proud
Greens will be parading together with thousand others through central Stockholm.
Last year, 1.5 million people came to watch the parade.
The festival park will open
July 30, with the Green Party tent as the natural meeting place for greens of all
nationalities – with a mix of serious discussions and perhaps not-so-serious entertainment.
