Info
Utah Pride takes place from the 1st to the 7th June 2021.
Utah Pride Festival is held every summer in downtown Salt Lake City, in order to celebrate diversity and gather the LGBTQ+ community. The festival includes the parade and a film festival, the Dyke March, an interfaith service as well as many parties and receptions. The event gets much attention from politicians and civil rights groups. Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson and Utah Rep. Jackie Biskupski, the state's first openly lesbian legislator, were speakers at the festival.
Parade
Join us at the Utah State Capitol, for the Rainbow March and Rally, on Sunday June 6th at 10am. This year the Rainbow Rally and March will be one of the focal points of our week. We will “Raise Our Voices” in support of all of these communities again, as we, Utah’s LGBTQ+ community comes together, to support of each other, and celebrate our roots and history.
Starting at 300 North State Street, we will carry the 200’ rainbow flag and one balloon arch. The flag and balloon arch will march down State Street and meet the next balloon arch, and then the next balloon arch and the next until we have joined together to create a massive balloon arch of over 1000 balloons!
