UK human rights campaigners, Brighton Pride needs you
23 June 2011 08:56The British Youth council will be attending Brighton Pride this year to raise awareness of our Campaign against homophobia in Poland. We continue to call upon the UK government to denounce the human rights violation caused by Poland.
We need you and your society to join our team of staff and volunteers on the day and help promote the campaign. You'll don a T-shirt (or fancy dress), take pictures, carry out filming, give out stickers and action cards and help us raise awareness of this issue. We're calling on the UK government to denounce homophobia by the Polish government. For more information see: www.byc.org.uk/PolandCampaign.

Onto some good news:
The Early Day Motion to internationally legalize homosexuality has now been put onto the Labour agenda - in some countries to be found to be homosexual carries the death penalty! Also 25 MP's and MEP's have so far pledged their support of our campaign - but we need more.
