In protest to Bromley Councils homophobic press release dictating their refusal to offer ceremonies for the Civil Partnership' over 100 people gathered at the
Crown and Anchor Public House to start the march that bought Bromley to a stand still.
The march made its way through Bromley to its final destination the Civil Hall where Gino Meriano handed in a petition which held thousands of names
from gay people' non gay and outraged residents.
Gino Meriano founder of Pink Weddings spoke about the Civil Partnership' acceptance in society and how this kind of action from Bromley cannot
be accepted in today's society. Sending a message across the UK to stop discrimination when it comes to couples seeking to seal their love and commitment to each other.
Additional guest speakers Liam Curran and Glen Kelly from Unison both spoke about the outrage caused by Bromley and how this march is the start of
raising awareness to councils
