EURO-MP ADDS VOICE TO 'BACK ON TRACK' CAMPAIGN
PLANS to slash rural rail services in Kent must be taken back to the drawing
board, the country's Green Party Euro-MP Caroline Lucas said, adding her
voice to the growing campaign to get Kent 'Back on Track'.
Dr Lucas will discuss her concerns at proposals by the Strategic Rail
Authority (SRA) to cut rural rail services across the county during a
meeting with Maidstone Borough Councillor Malcolm Robertson tomorrow - at a
traditional pump-trolley train which has been installed in Maidstone's
market Square in the High Street.
