Revellers at Manchester's Gay Pride festival are hoping to witness a new world record in the city centre over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Organisers are planning to beat the current record for the biggest number of drag queens dancing in a line.

It currently stands at 49 and was set in Nottingham. Pride organisers in Manchester hope to smash this number by getting 60 in a line up.

The event is taking place in Bloom Street in the heart of the gay village.
