About 5,000 people braved the rain in Birmingham city centre for the best attended Gay Pride Mardi Gras in the parade's history.
Floats paraded from Victoria Square through the city centre to the Gay Village in Hurst Street on Sunday.

It was part of a weekend of events for the city's 11th Gay Pride event.

A city council spokesperson said: "The event has been going for eight years and this is the best attended yet. Even the rain didn't deter people."
