29th of September, 6-9 pm at the Brighthelm Centre
It's about what being Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender means in terms of diminishing our self-esteem and confidence to live the lives we feel are truly ours. It's about how we identify ourselves, and what limitations - what lack of confidence - this brings.
Within these very real issues lies our freedom, if we have the courage to be real to ourselves. But is it it more comfortable to live in a box and blame the rest of the world for being there, when it was only ourselves that made the box in the first place?
I am still answering many of these questions myself, and find it hard sometimes to admit that, despite all the years of work on myself and my very real confidence and courage, there are still times that it all crumbles, and there is more to do. The life on Planet Earth we all share.
If you would like to join me again on the 29th to see what we can do for each other - at no cost, or have questions, please email me at persia.west@aplaceatthetable.co.uk
