Couples staged an impromptu kiss-in as hate-filled activists from the Christian Voice protested at London's gay Pride march on Saturday.
And five gays were arrested as tempers flared - officers released all of them immediately' without charging them or even taking them to the police station.
Around 30 Christians came face-to-face with 30'000 gays' lesbians' bisexuals and transgender people - many of whom paused on the parade to shout back at the fundamentalists.
The protesters carried banners saying "God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah" and "The wages of sin is death" and were led by the political campaign group's boss Stephen Green.
