Comedian Matt Lucas' actors Jeremy Sheffield and Simon Callow and Boy George have all sent messages of support to the demonstration' which takes place in London tomorrow.
At the protest' a petition organized by AXM magazine will be handed over to the Iranian embassy calling on the government to update its policies on sexual diversity in the country.
It follows the high profile public execution of two gay teenagers earlier this year. The boys were accused of having sex with each other and sparked a series of protests across the globe.
Human rights campaigners have called for the Iranian government to halt the execution of young people and are pushing for its opposition to lesbian and gay people to be relaxed.
Some of those involved in the campaign have questioned why Britain continue to have diplomatic ties with Iran in light of the recent executions and the rise of anti-gay sentiment in the country.
"I unreservedly condemn this savage and barbaric treatment of homosexual men in Iran'" Callow said in a statement.
