London gay sex and lifestyle shop, Prowler Stores, is to open a branch in Brighton this spring. The chain's sixth shop will be on the corner of St James Street and Broad Street, right in the heart of the city's gay village.
Owners at Millivres Prowler Group hope to create a "bright, stylish" shop selling fashion, books and other products to both lesbians and gay men. At the back of the shop will be The Blue Room, the store's erotic department selling R18 videos.

MPG has applied to the city council for a licence for The Blue Room area and are waiting to hear when the shop will be able to open.
The company is also planning to open stores in other UK gay centres this year.
