With the Civil Partnership just around the corner, figures are starting to come in.

13 civil partnerships have already taken place under special arrangements since the 5 December when the Act came into operation.

687 couples have made arrangements for their civil partnership on 21 December. The first day on which civil partnerships can take place in England and Wales under the normal procedures.

The top ten so far includes:

Hampshire
Hammersmith and Fulham
Brighton and Hove
Hertfordshire
West Sussex
Cornwall
Richmond
Suffolk
Devon
