Pride in Trafford is BACK for 2021! Join us for this year's gloriously camp, queer and fun festival to celebrate the very best of all things LGBTQ+ across the borough!

Throughout the week, we will run a small programme of one-off comedy, cabaret, storytelling, dance and theatre shows showcasing local and up coming LGBTQ+ artists and performers.

During the festival, They’ll be a ceremonial flag raising at Sale Town Hall, to mark IDAHOBIT and the beginning of the festival, there’s book reading for children aged 5-11 with author Olly Pike at Sale Library. There’ll be pop-up dance in Sale Town Centre, and comedy from Paul Sinha, Jessica Fostekew and Josh Jones. There’s also some brilliant contemporary theatre including Yours Sincerely and a Making Waves: Queer Edition hosting some of the most exciting performance being made by LGBTQ+ artists in Greater Manchester, including two ‘Pride Stages’ pieces commissioned for the festival, by Jason Andrew Guest and Cheddar Gorgeous.

An immersive exhibition will run at Waterside throughout the festival and a special model making/creative conversations with artist Matthew Bellwood who’ll create a miniature Pride March during the week our own Trafford LGBTQ+ group for young people – Rainbow Reflections will be curating their own special event to mark the occasion.

There’ll be ‘at home tickets’ for a couple of the events, for those who may not wish to attend in person and lots of additional measures in place to ensure the audiences and visitors are in safe hands.
