Winter Pride NZ takes place from the 22nd August to 1st September 2024.

Welcome to Queenstown's Winter Pride, the most popular & largest Winter Pride Festival in the Southern Hemisphere. Winter Pride is renowned for fun both on and off the mountain, and once you've come once, you are bound to want to come back again. Winter Pride is a festival in a small town with a bold heart, celebrating love, community, diversity, visibility, safety and inclusion. This annual event has been capturing hearts and celebrating diversity since its establishment in 2003. What began as a modest gathering in the snow has transformed into a grand celebration known today as Winter Pride.

11 days packed with amazing events, with talent line-ups including some of our best loved Australasian DJs, dance parties, skiing, snowboarding and mountain walks, the festival is the perfect week for people to show their true selves in an accepting, supportive and fun community. Our annual week of festivities includes a huge variety of both on and off mountain events, ensuring there is something for everyone. Our shows and creative events provide an amazing array of entertainment, and our community series gives back to local youth and charities. Join us for 11 days of celebration!
