Xai-Xai, named after a Mozambican beach resort, is positioned on the trendy and all too familiar 7th Street, Melville. It is labelled the Mozambican Shebeen by the regulars, who often spend endless evenings indulging in the original cocktails and shooters concocted by the laid back barmen.

This cosy little venue is often packed with young trendy students and celebs, to your not so young (but of course trendy) regulars of Melville. An array of visually stimulating pictures and posters lit up by multi-coloured hanging lights surround tables dimly lit by melting candles positioned in old brown beer bottles, creating a feeling of pure beach-like relaxation.
